Talk about “church not-as-usual”, Calvary Church in Dunwoody hosted a Super Bowl inspired “Super Sunday” Extravaganza. With lots of games and activities for the young and young-at-heart facilitated by Dunwoody High School’s Cheerleaders and Football players, it was a great day of fun and fellowship. There were even “Half-Time” show performances by the Chamblee High School Drum Line and the Georgia Tech Spirit Band, prize giveaways and favor tosses by the Dunwoody High School Football Team.
The morning’s festivities were brought to a close with an inspiring talk by former Steelers Running Back Tim “The Bus Driver” Lester. He spoke about his family, upbringing, life as a professional football player and the journey that ultimately led him to God and his current role as motivational speaker to young people around the country and author of “The Bus Driver: A Journey of Perseverance”.
It was a great day and I shot a ton of photographs, so if you want to see more, I created a Zenfolio Gallery for all to enjoy!
And Congratulations to the Super Bowl XLVI Champions, The New York Giants!
Believe — Then just do it!
